As part of the course Management Consulting for Engineers taught at the University of Toronto, we, a team of 4, got the opportunity to work with PwC Canada to develop a Target Operating Model for a Mid to Luxury Automotive Car Manufacturer to tackle emerging technologies and effects of COVID-19. I had the chance to explore and analyze in-depth the Electric Vehicle Segment as it the growing market in this new era. I worked on understanding the various emerging technologies in the Automotive sector with respect to the type of drive, customer experience, and battery technologies and recommend the potentially disruptive areas to capture in the next decade.
Studied the market of emerging technologies in the automotive sector based on SWOT analysis and identified key consumer target areas.
Performed product positioning by benchmarking techniques and competitor analysis.
Proposed changes in customer experience considering the effects of COVID-19.
Developed recommendations for a ten-year Target Operating Model for new and existing products.
Identified the risks in the proposed recommendations and provided mitigation plans for the same.
Ensured highly quality presentation and report standards for effective and well-formatted communication by being the report coordinator for the team.
